The Macau Gaming Information Association (MGIA) was founded in February of 2016 by a group of entrepreneurs and professionals who share a deep knowledge of Macau stemming from experience in Macau gaming, tourism, technology, finance, banking and law, among others.
MGIA's mission is to promote and develop the exchange of knowledge and information in the gaming industry with the aim of promoting cross-border cooperation that will strengthen the links between Macau and the global economy. In addition, MGIA works to further Macau’s long-term and sustainable development into a diversified economy of entertainment, tourism, and gaming.
MGIA's membership includes Macau-focused casino and VIP gaming operators, investors, travel agencies, junket agents, land-based and online gaming solution providers, mobile and internet tech developers, and gaming-related marketing, hospitality, consulting, accounting, and legal professionals.
MGIA's committee organizes regular meetings for its members and delegates to meet with government officials, legislators, media, gaming industry companies and professionals, and other industry associations to promote communication and understanding. These groups include The Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ.gov.mo), China Liaison Office Macao, AGA, G2E, ICE, iGA, EiG, GLI, WGM, IAG, AGB, GGR, and Macau Business.
